YMCA FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

The La Crosse Area Family YMCA strives to provide membership and program services to all that desire to participate. The YMCA's Scholarship Program, supported in part through contributions to the Strong Kids Campaign, the United Way and the La Crosse Community Foundation, provides membership and program scholarships for those in need within our available resources.

Scholarship percentages also apply to one program per child per session with a minimum fee of $5. Scholarship percentages do not apply to adult specialty programs (most adult opportunities are included for free with the membership, like the Wellness Center, Group Cycling, Group Wellness Classes, Y-Child Watch etc).

Percentages indicate amount of scholarship given. YMCA scholarship application and documentation required at all levels. Applicants' special circumstances may dictate exceptions. Program enrollment subject to availability and based upon available resources. Scholarship policies subject to change.

Scholarship Assistance Applications, which more fully explain our scholarship policy and how to apply, are available at the YMCA's Member Services Desk. You will need to supply proof of your total family income. Proof on income can be in the form of social security benefit verification form or a copy of previous years tax return.
